DAY 2: MAY 8, 2023 Louisville, KY
History of Kentucky Bourbons & Tastings
After breakfast at your hotel, head over to the Frazier Museum to visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center, a perfect way to kick start our journey through Kentucky’s history, culture and of course, bourbon! Snag a Kentucky Bourbon Trail passport, check out the artifacts and replicas of whiskey history, test your knowledge at Bourbon Trivia and visit The Spirit of Kentucky Bourbon Exhibition

A short walk down the street finds us at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience where we’ll enjoy a guided tour followed by free time to grab a crafted cocktail at ON3, their loft space bar with barrel staves and bottled chandeliers.

After time for lunch on your own, we’ll head over to the Old Forester Distilling Co. featuring four floors of Bourbon education. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Perhaps visit the Louisville Slugger Museum or drop by Angel’s Envy for a tasting?

DAY 3: MAY 9, 2023 Lexington, KY 
Journey to Lexington (3 nights)
This morning, imagine the thundering sounds of thoroughbred hoofs on the celebrated Churchill Downs racetrack as you visit the home of the Kentucky Derby since 1875.

Enjoy an included “Hot Brown” lunch at Louisville’s Historic Brown Hotel. Travel to Frankfort and experience a taste of what makes Buffalo Trace Distillery the most award winning Distillery in the world. Then board the Bourbon Boat for a tour on the Kentucky River.

During your tour you’ll learn about the river and it’s importance to the bourbon industry, you may even spot some Bald Eagles, river otters and deer on your scenic journey. Continue Lexington, our home for the next three nights

DAY 4: MAY 10, 2023 Lexington, KY
Today visit the Lexington Cemetery, the final resting place of many Civil War figures. Afterward visit Alltech Brewing & Distilling Co., offering the unique distinction of being a brewery and distillery, for a tour and tasting. With the afternoon free, consider going on an Optional Ark Encounter.

DAY 5: MAY 11, 2023 Lexington, KY
Visit the Kentucky Horse Park, an expansive equine theme park with more than 40 horse breeds on display, or explore the International Museum of the Horse, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.

After an included Bluegrass luncheon at the park, we Dive into Culture, saddling up for a soulful encounter with the equine residents of a local horse retirement farm, where you’ll Make a Difference by contributing to the dignified retirement of thoroughbreds whose careers have come to an end. The rest of the day is free.

DAY 6: MAY 12, 2023 Lexington, KY

Bid farewell to Bourbon, Bluegrass & Bridles as you transfer as a group to Lexington Airport.
