Itinerary
Day 1:
ARRIVE WASHINGTON, D.C.
Arrive in Washington, D.C., meet your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in the nation’s capital. Tonight enjoy a Washington D.C. Twilight Illumination Tour of famous monuments including those dedicated to Lincoln, Jefferson & Washington. Enjoy the beautiful holiday lights throughout the nation’s capital.

Day 2:
VERNON – WILLIAMSBURG – GRAND ILLUMINATION
After breakfast travel to visit Mount Vernon, President George Washington’s beautiful estate overlooking the Potomac River. The “Father of Our Country” called Mt. Vernon home for more than 45 years. Tour the house and gardens and visit the grave site of the first President of the U.S. Continue south and arrive in Williamsburg, Virginia for a four-night stay in this historic Colonial city which is truly magical during the holiday season. This evening, enjoy a Colonial Welcome Dinner at one of the local Taverns. Then enjoy the spectacular Grand Illumination as the revolutionary city lights up with fireworks, bonfires, and candles twinkling in the windows of the buildings. Delight in live music from fifes and drums and other special activities that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit! (B,D)

Day 3:
WILLIAMSBURG – PARADE
Today embark on a Colonial Williamsburg Walking Tour along Duke of Gloucester Street, referred to by FDR as “the most historic avenue in America”. Your guide highlights some of the 300-year-old town’s historic sites, including 88 restored and reconstructed 18th century buildings. Then explore Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Trades such as Apothecary, Blacksmith, and Silversmith. After an early dinner take in the festive Christmas Parade and usher in the holiday season with floats, bands, civic groups, and special guests, Santa & Mrs. Claus. (B,D)

Day 4:
YORKTOWN – WILLIAMSBURG
Today visit nearby Yorktown, where British commander Lord Cornwallis surrendered to Washington’s troops in 1781. Visit the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown which tells the story of the nation’s founding. Exciting indoor galleries feature period artifacts, immersive environments and films including “The Siege of Yorktown.” Outdoors explore a re-created Continental Army encampment and a 1780’s farm with costumed interpreters re-enacting daily life. Return to the hotel this afternoon where the rest of the day is at your leisure. Be sure to enjoy more of the holiday season activities and decorations in Williamsburg this evening. (B)

Day 5:
JAMESTOWN – BUSCH GARDENS
Today a short ride brings you to Jamestown, founded in 1607 as the first permanent English settlement in the New World. Visit the restored full-scale Jamestown Settlement, a museum of 17th-century Virginia history and culture. Near the site of the original colony, discover the story of America’s beginnings through immersive films, gallery exhibits and outdoor recreations. This evening, enjoy your Farewell Dinner at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Then experience holiday lights, sights and sounds of Christmas Town at Busch Gardens. The beautiful theme park is transformed with over ten million twinkling lights, one of the largest holiday light displays in North America. Then enjoy one or two of the heartwarming holiday shows which are part of Christmas Town. (B,D)

Day 6:
WILLIAMSBURG – FLY HOME
This morning travel to Washington D.C. Airport (DCA*) for your return flight home filled with wonderful memories of your Williamsburg Christmas experience. (B)

Deposit of $400 per person is due with Reservation Form to secure reservations. Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Final Payment Due

The parties agree to indemnify each other and hold each other harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs, which either part, its agents or employees, shall at any time sustain or incur by reason of the acts, omissions or negligence on the part of the other party, its officers, agents or employees.
In any legal proceedings of any nature involving the interpretation, construction, application, or enforcement of any of the terms of this contract, the prevailing party shall be entitled to an award for reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in connection with the proceeding and any such proceeding must be conducted in Hot Springs, AR. This agreement and attachments shall be construed according to the laws of the State of Arkansas and Federal Laws of the United States.
The performance of this agreement is subject to termination by either party without liability upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party – such as but not limited to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorders, or other emergencies making it illegal or impossible for either party to substantially meet its performance obligations under this Agreement.
The Simply Travel Team makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food suppliers on the severity of food allergies. In addition, there is always a risk of contamination. Some Items may contain allergen ingredients without prior notice due to manufacturer or unit substitutions. Those concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. Simply Travel, LLC is unable to assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come into contact with while travelling with us. If there are any questions regarding specific menu item ingredient(s), one must consult the onsite manager to ensure that the particular menu item is free of said allergens before consuming.
Itinerary Changes
The operator reserves the right to vary itineraries should circumstances dictate, as well as cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements, or circumstances beyond its control. Hotels listed are to be used as a guide only unless specified as confirmed. Confirmed hotels are subject to change beyond our control. In this situation we will arrange an alternative property as similar as possible. The advertised tours require minimum numbers to depart. Should these not be met the operator reserves the right to cancel arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
Tour Cancellation: Simply Travel LLC reserves the right to cancel any tour due to lack of interest or participation. In the event of cancellation your tour will be refunded.
Customer Cancellation: Once booked, non-refundable. We can assist in transferring your booking (name change) at no additional charge excluding cruises.
