Itinerary
Day 1:
Your Texas adventure begins as you depart the DFW Metroplex and head northwest through wide-open plains and ranchland.
A morning comfort stop at The Pecan Shed offers time to stretch, browse sweet treats, and enjoy small-town charm. Lunch is included in Childress before continuing on to Amarillo.
After hotel check-in, the group gathers for dinner at the legendary The Big Texan Steak Ranch — famous for its 72-ounce steak challenge and lively Western atmosphere.
Overnight in Amarillo, TX.
Day 2:
After breakfast at the hotel, bags are out and incidentals cleared before departing for the day’s journey.
A quick photo stop at Tee Pee Curios captures classic Route 66 charm. Group lunch is included in Santa Rosa before continuing on to Santa Fe.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a group dinner. Overnight in Santa Fe, NM.
Day 3:
Breakfast at the hotel begins a day rich in culture and history.
Travel to El Santuario de Chimayo, a revered adobe pilgrimage site known for its peaceful setting and centuries-old traditions. Lunch is included at Rancho de Chimayó Restaurante, featuring authentic Northern New Mexican flavors.
Return to Santa Fe to visit the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, enjoy leisure time at Santa Fe Plaza, stop by the historic De Vargas Street House (the Oldest House), and tour the beautiful Loretto Chapel, home of the legendary staircase.
Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure. Overnight in Santa Fe, NM.
Day 4:
Day 5:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for an unforgettable day at the world-famous Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
The excitement begins before sunrise with the magical Drone Light Show and the dramatic Dawn Patrol Show, as select balloons glow against the early morning sky. Gather at the Main Street Stage for the National Anthem, then watch the colorful Special Shape Rodeo and the mass Balloon Launch, filling the horizon with hundreds of vibrant balloons. The Fly In Competition Launch adds even more action to the morning sky.
Throughout the day, enjoy the Morning and Afternoon Chainsaw Carving Exhibitions, live Entertainment at the Main Street Stage, and the lively Chainsaw Carving Auction. There’s also an opportunity to return to the hotel for a midday break if desired.
As afternoon turns to evening, look skyward for Team Fastrax™ Skydiving, followed by the glowing spectacle of the Special Shapes Glowdeo, another Drone Light Show, and a dazzling After Glow Fireworks finale.

Day 6:
Bags out and incidentals cleared, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing Albuquerque and heading east across the high desert.
Make a scenic stop at Blue Hole, a striking natural spring known for its crystal-clear, sapphire-blue waters — a perfect place to stretch your legs and snap photos.
Continue into West Texas for a group lunch in or near Clovis before arriving in Lubbock. After checking in to your hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy dinner on your own at Triple J Chophouse & Brew Co., a local favorite known for steaks, craft beer, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Day 7:
Bags out and incidentals cleared, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning the final leg of your journey home.
Stop in Abilene for lunch on your own at The Beehive Restaurant, a longtime local favorite known for hearty West Texas fare and friendly service.
After lunch, visit Frontier Texas!, an interactive museum that brings the Old West to life with engaging exhibits and storytelling.
This afternoon, continue east and arrive back in the DFW area around 3:30 pm, concluding your memorable Southwest adventure.

Terms and Conditions
This tour requires a $500.00 deposit per person. The deposit is nonrefundable. Reservations will not be confirmed without payment or deposit. Final Payment is due July 5, 2026.
The parties agree to indemnify each other and hold each other harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs, which either part, its agents or employees, shall at any time sustain or incur by reason of the acts, omissions or negligence on the part of the other party, its officers, agents or employees.
In any legal proceedings of any nature involving the interpretation, construction, application, or enforcement of any of the terms of this contract, the prevailing party shall be entitled to an award for reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in connection with the proceeding and any such proceeding must be conducted in Hot Springs, AR. This agreement and attachments shall be construed according to the laws of the State of Arkansas and Federal Laws of the United States.
The performance of this agreement is subject to termination by either party without liability upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party – such as but not limited to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorders, or other emergencies making it illegal or impossible for either party to substantially meet its performance obligations under this Agreement.
The Simply Travel Team makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food suppliers on the severity of food allergies. In addition, there is always a risk of contamination. Some Items may contain allergen ingredients without prior notice due to manufacturer or unit substitutions. Those concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. Simply Travel, LLC is unable to assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come into contact with while travelling with us. If there are any questions regarding specific menu item ingredient(s), one must consult the onsite manager to ensure that the particular menu item is free of said allergens before consuming.
Itinerary Changes
The operator reserves the right to vary itineraries should circumstances dictate, as well as cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements, or circumstances beyond its control. Hotels listed are to be used as a guide only unless specified as confirmed. Confirmed hotels are subject to change beyond our control. In this situation we will arrange an alternative property as similar as possible. The advertised tours require minimum numbers to depart. Should these not be met the operator reserves the right to cancel arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
Tour Cancellation: Simply Travel LLC reserves the right to cancel any tour due to lack of interest or participation. In the event of cancellation your tour will be refunded.
Customer Cancellation: Once booked, non-refundable. We can assist in transferring your booking (name change) at no additional charge excluding cruises.
